The regular International Conference for the heads of the education quality management bodies and organizations was held in Moscow (Russia), on October 6-7, 2005. The conference was devoted to the development of quality assessment systems in higher education of the Commonwealth of Independent States and the Baltic States.
The agenda of the conference included the following problems:
- co-operation strategy with the European countries within the bounds of the Bologna Declaration;
- opportunities of the international experts' exchange for implementation of the accreditation proceduresÿ of separate educational institutions;
- participation in a regular session of the Accreditation Board of the Federal Service of Supervision in Education and Science;
- consideration of new candidates' applications for membership in the Eurasian Quality Assurance Network (EAQAN).
